During the month of romance and the celebration of love, many of us are looking for new lingerie brands with unique designs that make us feel confident and sexy in our own skin on Valentine’s Day.
Today, we have hundreds of lingerie brands at the click of a button, big companies, and household names, but there are also small indie companies that you may not know about. These three lingerie brands are Latino-owned and celebrate women’s empowerment and sensuality through their inclusive designs for all shapes and sizes.
Each of these brands stands out for something in particular— whether classic designs, sustainability, or designs for special occasions, they all highlight our attributes and sensuality.
Eberjey

Eberjey was founded in 1996 by Ali Mejia and Mariela Rovito, two Latinas born in El Salvador and Buenos Aires, respectively, and raised in Miami. Ali and Mariela’s initiative to embark on this project came from the desire to find lingerie and sleepwear that focused more on comfort and not on the need to attract the male gaze.
This brand has brought for years relief to women looking for another approach and bet on comfort. Eberjey’s products are sustainable, with organic and durable fabrics.
Naja

Naja was founded by Catalina Girald and Golden Globe winner Gina Rodriguez. The two met during the filming of the Protect & Gamble Orgullosa series, “Nine Up and Coming Nueva Latinas.” Gina and Catalina connected over their passion for empowering women, helping underprivileged people, and body acceptance, which is when the idea for Naja was born.
In addition to creating unique lingerie designs for all sizes and tastes, the brand created a program to help women called Underwear for Hope, which helps marginalized women in Colombia find employment opportunities and become entrepreneurs. With every Naja purchase, a donation is made to local charities.
Femmesualidad

Founded by Mexican-born and entrepreneur Faviola Garcia, Femmesualidad was born out of Faviola’s desire to help women accept their bodies by promoting self-love and body positivity. Faviola started her journey with Femmesualidad after many years of working as an accountant. Her career allowed her to raise the money to pursue her passions. Femmesualidad became her small business, and she now works alongside her fiancé, siblings, and friends.
Femmesualidad aims to help women reconnect with their feminine side through lingerie and feel self-confident. Their designs are very chic and classic, some with a more daring touch, but always keeping in mind to highlight the curves and feel absolutely sexy in them.
