Easy-to-Make Lime Mousse for St. Patrick’s Day

Today’s recipe is a lime mousse, the perfect dessert to surprise your family, and the perfect solution when you have an unexpected visit of relatives or friends. It only calls for 3 ingredients and it’s delightful! Since we have St. Patrick’s Day just around the corner and this is a lime dessert,  I decided to add a pinch of green food coloring and it was a success. Preparation time: 10 min
Servings: 6


  • can evaporated milk, frozen
  • 1 can condensed milk
  • 1/3 cup 
    fresh lime juice
  • 1/2 Tsp.  
    green food coloring (optional)
  • slices of lime to decorate (optional)


  1. In an bowl add evaporated milk and beat with an electric mixer.

  2. Continue beating and add condensed milk.

  3. Add the lime juice and beat for 3 more minutes until it increases in volume and a creamy, homogeneous and light mousse is formed.

  4. Add the coloring and mix well.

  5. Refrigerate for 30 minutes.

  6. Serve in ice cream cups and decorate with a lime slice.
