#Adulting! Urban Dictionary defines this millennial term as: to do grown up things and hold responsibilities such as, a 9-5 job, a mortgage/rent, a car payment, or anything else that makes one think of grown-ups.
According to our friends at ATTN, 30% of college kids can’t even boil an egg… an egg! Considering there are 38% fewer Home EC classes in our schools than a decade ago, it’s no surprise that we’re raising a generation of people who can’t manage basic “adult” tasks like doing laundry or changing a tire.
Isn’t it about time kids get a crash course in Life 101? Whether taught at home or in school, topics of learning can vary from how often you should be washing your sheets to how to drive a stick shift… all important stuff, right? After all, what will the world look like in ten years with a generation of adults that are only capable of maintaining an interesting Snapchat feed?
