A short video showing one brother’s love for his younger sibling who has Down syndrome is bringing the Internet to a collective tear. The touching tribute of Nova Scotia brothers Griffin and Turner, has racked up more than 3 million views since it appeared online.
The video starts off with seven-year-old Griffin talking about how he defends his little brother in public. “When people are making fun of him or laughing at him, then I would say ‘stop’,” Griffin says. And then he prompts Turner to make some of the “silly faces” he often makes around the house. Turner kisses Griffin on the cheek and wraps his arms around his neck in a show of pure brotherly affection, to melt the heart.
The boys’ mother Kelly Macintosh-Scott, said Griffin and Turner have always had a special bond and that she never stops learning from her boys.“They’re quite a dynamic duo.” This once again proves that true love overflows any condition, illness or situation in life. What an uplifting realization!
