Since the beginning of the pandemic, many people began working or studying from home. In a virtual world, staying on task can be tricky when surrounded by distractions.
Going on a walk, doing the dishes, or even just watching the next episode of your favorite series are all tempting activities to engage in while you have a Zoom meeting playing in the background (on mute, of course). If you’re having trouble staying on task, whether from too many Zoom meetings or having other hobbies, you are not alone chica! We have put some ideas together that might just help you stay focused while WFH.
The most obvious, but most important tip is to eliminate distractions (duh!). One way to do this is by putting your phone down for some time. Every social media app and every notification can distract you from the task at hand.
Eating well and performing lots of self-care can also help keep you focused. Don’t feel selfish amiga, when your body and mind are both feeling happy and healthy, you are more likely to feel motivated to work on your tasks.
Give yourself a break, please.
Keeping a fun hobby in your daily routine can also help you stay focused, as it provides a break from work and a breather to relax the brain from work-related conversations.

Lastly, sleep and rest are essential. Make sure to have an established sleep schedule, allowing yourself to get at least 7-8 hours of sleep.
Apply the screen time limits you use with the kids! Turning off screens at least 30 minutes before sleeping can help so much!
