Flower Of The Month Club
If you think your teacher would appreciate a some natural beauty in his/her classroom or home, then flowers are a simple and classic way to brighten her day. And yes, flowers on World Teachers Day are a nice touch, but flowers delivered every month as a constant reminder of how much you appreciate his/her work, now that’s a gift your teacher will love.
A Bottle Of Wine
Let’s be real, teachers are people too. They are people who spend the majority of their time with your kids; which means that if YOU need wine, they REALLY need wine. Pick a favorite bottle or two, and maybe even pair it with a cute label like this one from Zazzle.com.
Teachers always need new supplies for themselves, their students and their classroom. And the sad fact is that many times teachers spend THEIR OWN money on the supplies they need. A recent Time article stated that the cutbacks to school funding that were implemented during the recession were never reversed, and as a result, “most teachers spend more than $500 per year on school supplies out of their own pocket.” If you really want to help your teachers, buy them the supplies they need so they don’t have to spend their own hard-earned money, and they don’t have to stress about not having the right materials to do their job. Some websites like Amazon even have a teacher wish list feature, where teachers can register (similar to a wedding registry) for what they need and you can purchase gifts directly from there.
