Weekly Fashion Do’s And Don’ts
Kate Bosworth vs Melissa Satta
This season, fashion has fallen in love with lace! The runways were full of romantic thread-work – from sweetly pretty dresses to sensual see-through gowns and blouses – the romantic look is all the rage.
Kate Bosworth rocked the look in a Tory Burch off-the-shoulder white dress with floral accents. Although the full skirt and cinched waist could easily look dated, the modern neckline keeps the ensemble fresh and on trend. Looking every inch the flower child in the bohemian influenced garment, the actress completes the look with a chic updo, bright red lips, and coral cheeks. On the opposite spectrum, TV host and model Melissa Satta seems to have missed the mark with her Alberta Ferretti frock. While the mini dress nails the romantic lace trend, the two competing hues of blue complicate the look, instead of complimenting it. Like Coco Chanel said: “Dress shabbily and they remember the dress; dress impeccably and they remember the woman.”
