Here’s How To Get Your Family And Friends To Support You
You must believe in yourself. Human beings are beautiful creatures that unlike other animals with conscience are capable of making decisions. We don’t come with a manual that explains how to live life. And the best thing of it all is that we get to live different lives. Grow up, evolve and change into who we want to become. But when you’re finally there, how do you deal with the lack of support from friends and family? How do you get your confidence back without them?
When you simply stand your ground and believe in yourself even more for every person that doubted you.
By understanding that taking action requires a lot of courage. You changed jobs. Left that unhealthy relationship, or moved out on your own. You switched majors. You left school. You made the decision to do that for a reason. And confidence stems from action. The more you believe in yourself, the more confident you’ll get.
By not waiting for anybody else’s approval. You support yourself. Why does it matter if your loved ones don’t believe in you (yet)? Lack of support sometimes stems from a lack of comprehension. Your friends might not understand your motives, but this doesn’t mean they don’t love you.
By believing in yourself and realizing that small actions lead to big changes. If you think positively and are happy with your life choices, others will follow your lead eventually.
By realizing that your loved ones may not understand your decisions right away, and that change is a process in which each person accommodates to it in different ways than you might expect. They are happy when you are happy, so be secure in your choices and give them room to catch on and finally understand why you did it.
