Three Kings Day, also known as the Feast of the Epiphany, involves some amazing Three Kings Day food. For many Christians the holiday season isn’t officially over until  January 6th marks the end of the twelve days of Christmas and many Latin American countries and Spain commemorate the day when the three wise men came bearing gifts for baby Jesus.

The festivities come in different shapes and sizes around the world with religious services, parades and of course delicious food. Chef Ema Quevedo shares with us some traditional Three Kings Day food to help celebrate this special occasion with family and friends.

Start off the night with these yummy recipes like Shrimp with Pink Sauce and Fried Plantains.

To delight your guests, continue the feast with zesty Pineapple Coconut Tamales. For a main course try her Roast Pork Tenderloins with Poblano Chile Sauce.

Make sure to leave room for something sweet. The Three Kings Cake is a ring-shaped cake decorated with candied and dried fruits. In Mexico, the rosca de Reyes has a figurine of the Baby Jesus baked into the cake. Whomever finds it must make tamales for their friends and family on February 2nd, Día de la Candelaria.
