Crystle Stewart vs Laura Brown
Harper’s Bazaar fashion director and pageant judge Laura Brown fell flat in this overly-busy patriotic number. Not only was the undesirable length of the dress unflattering, but the gown’s fabric and ornate design seemed more flea market find than red carpet ready. Heavy ankle-strapped Mary Jane heels and an unkempt ‘do sealed the deal for Laura as one of the most unbecoming looks of the otherwise glamorous night.
On the opposite end of the style spectrum, former Miss USA 2008, Crystle Stewart killed it in a long-sleeved silvery lilac gown with modern cut outs – proving exactly why she is a former crown holder! The soft and elegant lavender hue accentuated her bronze skin and the curve hugging silhouette highlighted her svelte figure. Sleek, center-parted hair and jaw-dropping jewels topped off this glamorous look of the night!
